LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

I am passionate about supporting individuals in overcoming challenges, building self-esteem and confidence, improving relationships, achieving goals, and enhancing their overall quality of life. Throughout my professional career, I have worked with diverse populations in various settings. As a Black Muslim woman, my unique identity allows me to connect with and relate to a wide range of individuals, including those who may not initially seek therapy services. I have experience as a hospital social worker, providing emotional and practical support to patients and their families. Additionally, I have worked as an in-home therapist, delivering care in patients’ homes to assist with their recovery and well-being. My background also includes serving as a Program Coordinator, where I managed and coordinated various programs, ensuring smooth operations and the delivery of quality services to clients.

I am particularly drawn to working with teens and young adults, offering counseling to those struggling with anxiety and depression. My goal is to support individuals in overcoming these challenges, building resilience, and enhancing their mental well-being through personalized therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique needs. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two daughters, watching the Celtics, or binge-watching shows on Netflix.
