Transitioning from adolescence to adulthood can present unique challenges, particularly for neurodivergent individuals who have to navigate systems that were not created for them. Our Emerging Adult Transition Support is tailored to meet the specific needs and strengths of neurodivergent young adults, including those with Autism, ADHD, mental health challenges, brain injury, or learning differences. Our goal is to provide supportive, empathetic guidance to help you navigate this critical life stage with confidence and ease.

Vocation Exploration and Development:

  • Receive tailored assistance with resume writing, job applications, and interview techniques, including strategies to accommodate and leverage your strengths.

 

Academic and Learning Support:

  • Develop effective organization tools and time management techniques tailored to your learning style.

  • Support and guidance with navigating academic systems, including accommodations and resources available for neurodivergent students.

 

Life Skills and Independence:

  • Gain practical skills for managing daily life, including budgeting, organizing, and building routines, with strategies adapted to your specific needs.

MEET OUR EMERGING ADULT TRANSITION SPECIALIST, KATE ENICKS

Kate Enicks began her career as an educator in Philadelphia before earning her Master's Degree in School Counseling from Villanova University. She then worked as a school counselor in Philadelphia before relocating to Boston, where she provided vocational counseling at a therapeutic school for neurodivergent adolescents and young adults. Kate specializes in guiding emerging adults through transition-related tasks such as exploring interests, planning for college or careers, and developing independent living skills. Her support includes 1:1 meetings, text and email support, and direct community engagement.

Navigating transitions can be challenging for young adults, who often face questions like: Should I attend college, and if so, which one? What are my living options? What career paths align with my interests? How will I manage adult responsibilities, and what adult services might I qualify for?

Kate offers personalized guidance to help individuals discover their passions, strengths, and needs, enabling them to set and achieve realistic goals. By breaking down objectives into manageable steps and actively participating in the process, Kate fosters empowerment and confidence for successful transitions.

EMERGING ADULT SUPPORT

MONTHLY PACKAGES

TIER ONE

$600

  • 2 hours of direct virtual service per month

  • 1-2 text check-ins per week with client

  • 1 parent email per week

  • 1 30-minute parent phone call per month

TIER TWO

Interior Decorations

$800

  • 3 hours of direct in-person or virtual service per month

  • On-site support: ie. job coaching, college tour, interviews

  • 1-2 text check-ins with client per week

  • 1 parent email or 15 minute phone call per week

TIER THREE

Minimal Living Room

$1200

  • 5 hours of direct in-person or virtual service per month

  • On-site support: ie. job coaching, college tour, interviews

  • 3-4 text check-ins with client per week

  • 1 parent email or 15 minute phone call per week

Add-Ons:

Additional In person 60 minutes: $165

Additional virtual meeting 30 minutes: $75

Additional virtual meeting 60 minutes: $150
