LEARN MORE ABOUT ME
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Lexington, offering in-person and telehealth sessions in both English and Spanish. I completed my undergraduate degree in Biopsychology at Oglethorpe University in Atlanta and my Masters in Clinical Social Work at Boston University. I started my therapist journey in community organizing before moving to community mental health and later a partial hospital program for people facing addiction and mental health challenges. I have a person-centered approach that incorporates more traditional modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, and solutions-focused therapy with de-colonized perspectives based on liberation philosophy, parts work, spirituality, and cultural wisdom.
I think of therapy as a collaboration- a process where we explore together the things that are important to you and the ways I can support you in reaching for them. Whether that’s chasing your dreams, understanding your past, honing new skills, or embracing new parts of yourself, I’m here to put the power in your hands to make the changes you're looking for. I approach each session with curiosity, humor, honesty, and humanness to nurture a safe and affirming space for people to show up authentically. I have had the privilege of working with people of all ages, various marginalized identities, and those experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction recovery, trauma, grief, ADHD, gender/identity themes, and relationship challenges.
When I’m not in the office, you can find me snuggling my two cats Otis and Izzy, trying out new recipes, jamming at the piano, or watching the Miami Dolphins lose on Sunday afternoons from August to December.
