LEARN MORE ABOUT ME
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator providing in-person and telehealth services from the Milton office. I received my Bachelor’s in Philosophy from Lafayette College and my Masters in Social Work from Salem State University. My approach to therapy is to create a trusted, collaborative, authentic, and safe relationship for you to share your life, struggles, frustrations, quirks, successes, goals, and wounds you wish to heal from. I emphasize creating a nonjudgmental and supportive space to support your needs, interests and curiosities.
I draw from Narrative Therapy, Existential Therapy, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic approaches, and somatic therapy to support my clients. My experience includes working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, chronic pain, and post-traumatic stress, with a particular specialization in somatic approaches for trauma. I am also trained in, and actively facilitate, the first empirically validated, yoga-based intervention for complex trauma.
I am sensitive and responsive to how important culture, religion, spirituality, gender, race, ethnicity, and sexual orientation can be for a person. I recognize that people have complex and rich identities and am committed to listening and learning about who you are and how these matter to you. In my personal life I practice and teach Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, enjoy yoga, video games, spending time with my dog, working out, dancing, writing, reading, comedy, and traveling.
