LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

I am a licensed independent clinical social worker proud to be practicing with Verge Therapy. In my work I rely on evidence-based treatment approaches, drawing on CBT, DBT, and psychodynamic theories while maintaining a nonjudgmental and compassionate therapeutic relationship. I believe trust, patience, and humor are the most important qualities in any relationship, including the therapeutic one!

I graduated from Barnard College of Columbia University with my bachelors’ in dance and psychology, and earned my masters’ in clinical social work at the University of Chicago. During my education and subsequent years of experience I have worked with clients and families of all ages, in settings ranging from emergency departments and community crisis intervention to outpatient behavioral health.

I am committed to practicing social justice through social work and find great meaning in helping clients navigate the mental health system whether this is their first foray into therapy or their hundredth. I have experience working with clients across the lifespan with concerns such as anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, substance use, and chronic medical / mental health needs.

When not working at Verge or at my full-time role as an integrated behavioral health clinician at a federally qualified health center, I love spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, knitting, cooking, spinning, and hanging out with my tuxedo rescue cat, Eleanor.
