LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working via telehealth for Verge Therapy. My approach is client-centered and flexible. I use techniques based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing to create a partnership with my clients in order to identify their goals, barriers, and ways to make progress that feels right for them. I view therapy as a partnership in which the client is the expert and I am here with some experience to make suggestions and help guide you through challenging yourself to meet your own goals.

I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of New Hampshire and my Master’s Degree and CAGS (certificate of advanced graduate studies) from Suffolk University. I have experience in a variety of settings ranging from inpatient hospitalization to outpatient therapy. Most of my work has been community-based, working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families through community mental health centers. I have experience managing crises and supporting clients in creating individual mental health plans to feel more in control of their own needs.

When I’m not working, I am generally spending my time with family, friends, or my cat (Rondo). I love being outdoors, hiking, running, biking, or just sitting in a park with a book.
