LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

Katie is a dedicated Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with a passion for helping individuals from diverse backgrounds, ages, and life experiences. Her goal is to equip her clients with the necessary skills to effect meaningful positive change in their lives. Katie specializes in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and older adults, and has extensive experience working with a variety of issues including identity development, self-confidence, sexual trauma, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, OCD, and PTSD.

As a graduate of the Smith College School for Social Work and a Child and Adolescent Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis, Katie's philosophy as a psychotherapist combines a strong foundation of psychodynamic underpinning with evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, couple's therapy, and mindfulness. She believes in creating a non-judgmental and comfortable environment where clients can explore their emotions and feel empowered to make their own choices.

Katie's approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to each individual's unique needs and goals. She works with her clients to develop a deeper understanding of their experiences, and together they identify patterns and behaviors that may be preventing them from reaching their full potential. Through this process, Katie helps her clients build self-awareness and self-esteem, learn coping skills, and develop healthy relationships.
