LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

I am a licensed certified social worker committed to building a supportive therapeutic relationship with my clients. I am most passionate about empowering others to find agency and success!

In addition to my role at Verge Therapy, I am a high school counselor, and throughout my career, I have worked with adolescents and young adults in schools, summer camps, and nonprofits. I have experience working with youth facing a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, identity development, learning differences, physical injury and disability, racism, trauma, grief and loss, and other life transitions.

I have a master’s in Social Work from the Silberman School of Social Work at Hunter College. As a therapist, I use elements of several different therapeutic modalities, including mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-Based Therapy. I also rely heavily on theories of Nonviolent Communication and Cultural Humility.

When I’m not working, you can find me making art, spending time outside, or with my family/friends and dog, Rosie.
