LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

I am a licensed certified social worker, thrilled to be part of the Verge Therapy team via tele-health and in-person at the Milton office. I have a Bachelors degree in Child Development and Counseling Psychology from San Diego State University and a Master’s in Social Work from Boston University.

I specialize in working with young children and families (age 0-14). I have worked in a wide variety of settings including community parenting support and coaching programs, hospitals, substance use disorder and mental health treatment programs for pregnant individuals.

I offer family therapy and parent coaching. My goal is to help parents and/or caregivers repair or re-establish healthy caregiver-child relationships and attachments. My approach is family-centered, humanistic, and tailored to the cultural, spiritual, and unique needs of each family. I am here to support single parents, parents who are experiencing/have experienced mental health conditions or substance use disorder, families who have a child with complex medical needs and/or a mental health diagnosis, parents who have experienced child loss, and families who are working to heal after experiencing a traumatic event or who are experiencing ongoing stress.

I also offer individual therapy to children, ages 3-14. I have experience working with children who have experienced trauma, who have anxiety, social anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, medical conditions and experiences/chronic illness, and disabilities. My approach is child-centered, heavily focused on using play, as well as bibliotherapy (therapeutic books), CBT, Trauma-focused CBT, narrative therapy, and mindfulness. I strive to create a safe, comfortable space for children to express themselves and feel better in their minds and bodies.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me doing all kinds of art and cuddling my two kittens, Birdie and Dandelion.
