LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor working for Verge Therapy at the Lexington office, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions. I received my bachelor's degree in Theatre Arts from Stony Brook University and my master’s degree in mental health counseling from Lesley University with a specialization in Drama Therapy. I completed a clinical practicum at a Partial hospitalization program for children and adolescents, as well as doing community outreach working with medically complex adults managing their mental health symptoms.

Since graduating from Lesley University, I have worked in a variety of different settings that allowed me to serve clients of all age ranges. I have worked in intensive settings such as hospital programs running groups on all inpatient units, an adolescent group home providing individual and family therapy, memory care, and assisted living, and a Therapeutic Group Care for adolescents that provides assessment and intervention for adolescents and their families. Additionally, I am a certified provider in trauma-focused CBT, and the CAMS Framework for addressing suicidality, I often implement these frameworks into my approach with clients and families. I also tie in any evidence-based practices from Drama Therapy, such as role theory and projective object work, into my therapeutic approach.

During my time in the field, I have primarily worked with adolescents and young adults on depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, identity development, family systems, crisis intervention, and relationship issues. However, I also have extensive experience working with families, parents, and older adults through therapy and facilitating groups. I am passionate and excited about the work that I do and committed to helping my clients achieve their goals.

Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, and friends. I enjoy going to concerts and theatre productions. I also enjoy quiet moments of reading and going for walks by the water.
