LEARN MORE ABOUT ME
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) based in Lexington, MA, offering both in-person and telehealth sessions. I am a double Eagle at Boston College, receiving my Bachelors in Psychology in 2015 and my Masters in Social Work in 2020, with a concentration in children, youth, and families.
I utilize an eclectic approach ranging from experience in multiple therapeutic schools, in-home ABA, milieu and residential settings, partial hospitalization, and CBAT units. I have worked with ages 2 to adulthood, individuals, families, and groups. During my time in the field, I have primarily worked with adolescents and young adults related to anxiety, depression, trauma, Autism, behavioral difficulties, self-injurious behavior, identity development, attachment issues, crisis intervention, and relationship issues. I specialize in working with neurodivergent populations, in particular people with Autism, processing speed difficulties, and/or ADHD.
I have extensive experience working within systems, including DCF, school, and family systems. Through a client-centered lens, I am passionate about co-creating a therapeutic space that feels comfortable to my clients. My goal is to meet clients where they are at, often utilizing humor, creativity, and a conversational style when appropriate. I incorporate evidence-based approaches such as trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, behaviorism, and mindfulness. I believe that building insight into clients’ strengths and challenges, both internal and within their support systems, is key to making empowered, informed progress toward their goals.
Outside of work, I love spending time with friends and family, crafting, knitting, trying new restaurants, hiking, and seeking wonder in new or familiar places.
