LEARN MORE ABOUT ME

I have spent my career thus far supporting young adults & their families, with a specialization in working with the disabled. With experience as a special education teacher, school counselor, author & disability advocate, I am equipped to walk with you as you navigate unexpected waters and help you find shore, because everyone in a hurricane benefits from a larger boat.
After receiving my Bachelor's from Suffolk and working as a disability advocate for a few years, I joined Teach for America and taught special education in Fall River MA. I received a Masters's in Counseling from BSU and a Masters's in Curriculum and Development from Boston University. I later returned for a post-masters certification in Special Education Administration. I have been counseling since 2016 as a licensed school adjustment counselor (G 5-12). I am currently receiving supervision to obtain an LMHC. I am available to meet with you virtually and have flexible hours.

I believe that the best counselors have life experience that supports their specialization. I am able to support you with college prep, career, relationships, marriage, infertility and treatment journeys, pregnancy loss, NICU (happy to zoom into the hospital to support), chronic illness, and raising children with special needs.
I live on Cape Cod with my family. When not counseling, you can find me writing, boating, renovating a historic Firehouse in VT, and eating potluck dinners with friends.
